5.8 GHz is Faster and more reliable than 2.4 GHz!

At 2.4 GHz there are thousands of radios, wireless LANs, cordless phones, microwave ovens and garage door openers in Moscow and Pullman competing for 18 Mbps of usable airspace.  At 5.8 GHz there are only a few radios competing for 180 Mbps of usable airspace.  So the world is uncongested and faster at 5.8 GHz.

Why Ours is Better

We use carrier-class equipment.  This is equipment which costs more, but is robust – high class both in use and in lifetime.  Its management software will catch and correct most problems without human intervention, keeping your connection up.  It operates in a self-healing mesh network which falls back to alternative backhauls if necessary.  Neat stuff!
